One pick each, every day. A win extends the run; a loss resets it
and raises the next wager. Nobody is eliminated — the run is the scoreboard.

Think you can beat them?
Shark and Reaper each post one pick a day, before the deadline, win or lose.
Every result is on this page. Come take a run at them — you get the pick, and
you get to find out whether you'd have done any better.

Staking starts 2026-08-27. From that day wagers follow the
bounce: the ledger's base for that pick, plus 1u after a loss and 2u at
most, reset by a win. A push moves nothing and the next wager repeats.
Everything before that date keeps its flat stakes — the record is
not restaked. The rule was picked by testing it against this contest's own
history, so backfilling it would be scoring a bet after the race; it earns
its number going forward instead. The flat figure beside each P&L
is the same picks at base stakes, so the ramp stays visible once it starts.
One number did change on 2026-08-26, and it was a bug: pushes had been
counted as full losses. Reaper's record reads +2.72u where it had shown
+1.72u.
